Happy Birthday to Brandon!

So Brandon turned 11 yesterday! I can't believe it has been that long. I don't know what I would do without him. He is a HUGE help. He can hold and sooth Tyler anytime, he helps Heidi a lot. He is so strong and now moves the handlines, with Christopher. He loves to do his jobs right away and is so good to do anything I ask. He really loves to read. He is such an example for the other kids and tries really hard to do what's right. I love him so much. I'm glad he's in our family!
He really really wanted Mario Cart Wii, but so does the rest of the country because we couldn't find one. We finally bought one on line, but it didn't come in time for his birthday. He wasn't even sad at all that it wasn't here. I think he was in shock that we actually bought it for him! I've never seen him so happy for a piece of paper!
We went boating for his birthday. We tried out the new knee board. First Darin tried it and we were talking about how Jonathan loved it when he was about 5 or 6. Next thing we knew Kyle was saying I want to do it. We were Shocked!! So we let him. He rode on his belly for a long time, fell off once and didn't let go of the rope, but he was still smiling! He finally got up on his knees and I missed the best picture. He was smiling from ear to ear! He didn't stay on his knees long, but he did it. Becuase Kyle did it Christopher and Brandon wanted too. Then of course I had to try too. I think I found a new favorite! It was so much fun. I can't wait for you all to try it.
Christopher got up on his knees too. He really liked it.
Brandon got on his knees also. We let the rope out longer with him, he did really good. He even let go of the rope when he crashed!



For his birthday we had the neighbor kids over 'the Olsen's' they have 5 kids between Brandon and Kyle's ages. It is so much fun to have neighbors!! They played in the water outside. After we went boating, we still hadn't had steak dinner, that's what Brandon wanted. So about 10:30 we were eating steak! It was delicious. Cake at 11:00, couldn't be better :)! I think he had a great day!
