Happy Birthday Kyle!

Cute Kyle had a birthday today! He is pretty excited to be 6. He had a party and invited all the boys in his class- 22! Only 19 came. When they all got off the bus it was like a big herd, I felt like I was being invaded! The all looked so cute and were so excited. It was pretty wild. Luckily I had Christopher, Brandon, Darin and Grandma Susy to help. They played a couple relay games with balls and then they played dodge ball, with all our soft balls. They had a blast.

Kyle opened all his presents. All the boys were so excited to give him their present, he almost got ran over by them. He was pretty overwhelmed, but was great and took it all in stride. Then we had cake and ice cream. It was so quiet when they were eating, it was amazing. They all ate really fast, they were excited to play with the toys.

Kyle and all his goods! This is the one thing I don't like about birthday parties. Being on the receiving end of all the stuff. It was so super cute to see how excited the boys were for Kyle to open their present. They each wanted to play with the gift they had given him too. I guess it's good, it teaches them how to give.

There were little boys all over the basement. Some in the toy room playing tractors, legos, magnetics. Other's playing football and basketball. Still some just hanging out. Fun to watch all the different personalities.

One boys did throw up towards the end of the party. Luckily I had just picked up the wrapping paper in a big garbage sack, so I was able to catch some of it. Cleaning up your own kids throw-up is bad, cleaning up other kids is horrible! I hope the rest of the kids don't all get it.

One funny thing Kyle said. He wanted to invite the girls in our ward- there's 4. There is only 8 total girls in his class- bad odds for the boys, 22-8! We had decided 22 boys was enough. When we told him only boys he said "Ahh Mom, who are we going to chase then? Can't we invited at least 1 girl so we have someone to chase?" The real truth comes out. He's starting early.

Kyle's special dinner..... drum roll...... Baked Oatmeal! If you know Kyle you know he LOVES baked oatmeal. I was totally okay with that because it's so easy to make. What a kid!

We sure love Kyle. He has such a fun personality. His laugh is just so fun. He is a rough and tough boy and loves it when anyone gives him any physical attention. Our family would be pretty boring without Kyle. We love you buddy!
