The boys were with Darin at Grandma and Grandpa's river house when they found this little snake. They thought it would be a great idea to take it home to show Me, Darin warned them it wasn't a very good idea. Kyle brought it in the house while it was inside his baseball hat. I went ballistic. They laughed! I finally got them outside with it. It was nearly dead, and it was pretty small, so after it was outside I could look at it from a distance. They finally fed it to the cat. She was sooo happy, so was I.
FYI. ALL of our baby kitties are gone. I'M SO SAD. They just keep going one at a time, we thought the Mom's were moving them. Then Grandpa saw a raccoon a couple of times. I saw raccoon tracks on our sidewalk. I think our kitties made a nice dinner for a big raccoon. Poor kitties. Darin also just killed a big skunk that was camping out by our trees. I don't know if skunks eat kitties or not. I thought we were safe having 10 baby kitties, but I guess you can never have too many in the country. I don't know what Heidi is going to play with now, hopefully we will get more.

That is NOT even funny about the snake!!!! I HATE THEM! I would seriously die. That's so sad about your kitties. I hope you get more soon and they stay safe.
That's funny about the snake, I hope that I would have behaved a little more sanely than you, but I bet you made the boys day!! That's too bad about the kitties, They are so much fun to have around.
Oh man I would have had the same reaction. I had no idea that cats ate snakes....yuck! That's funny though, I am sure the boys loved scaring you. Today we saw 3 kittens outside in the garden, so some made it!!!
I'm so sad about all those cute kittens. That's got to be tough on the kids. I hate it when animals die. Is Ashley there? I hope there's a few left. My kids love playing with them. I can totally see your boys loving every minute with the snake and scaring you.
Sounds like you like snakes about as much as I do. I think I would be ballistic too if I ever saw one in my house.
