Sorry in advance, this is going to be a long one. When you have as many kids as I do, there are lots of pictures to take.
We carved pumpkins, but because we weren't home to light them for people to see, I have to post the picture. We always have fun carving pumpkins. I think 7 is a bit much though!

The traditional picture in front of the pumpkins we carved. We grew all these plus lots more in our garden.

We had been at my Mom and Dad's all day making cider, so we stayed down there and went trick or treating. They are ready to go. Tyler has even started on the candy!

Every year this kid comes up with the most creative costumes. Can anyone guess what he is?? He's a candy nerd. Wasn't it obvious! Fitting for Kyle.

Christopher was a scary vampire. He two front teeth are perfect for it this year, even though you can't see them.

We weren't going to let Brandon go trick or treating, (he's getting old!) We felt sorry for him though and found him a perfect nerd costume. Help, When do kids stop trick or treating??
Tyler was a darling little dinosaur. He really understood what trick or treating was about. He would throw a little fit if the people weren't home. We would have to drag him away crying.

Snow White, oh, I mean Heidi posing as Snow White. She kept saying she was the most beautiful girl. This is the first Halloween costume I have ever bought. I think we will get our money's worth out of wear!
We went trick or treating down in Darcy's neighborhood. That was very different for us country folk. So fun! It was endless trick or treating!! So many houses, too little time. Thanks Darc!
This is who met us at the door when we trick or treated at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She looked pretty good! You always make things so fun Mom!

This is attempt #2 at commenting! UGH I hate that. Anyways, I really like the big post, and all the cute costumes. It's funny Tyler got the picture about trick or treating and everything. Kyle cracks me up with his costume. Funny kid. That is probably his favorite holiday huh? I remember I was 11 when we were done trick or treating. It was a sad sad day, but the next year we had parties with friends, or I was babysitting making money so I was okay with it. Anyways, miss you see you in 3 weeks.
That looks like fun! The picture of mom looks pretty good. She does always make things fun! Mara told me that she thinks that next year she can be Snow White and Heidi can be Tinker Bell. That was a good idea on Kyle's hat! What a funny boy! Mom made us stop at twelve. Maybe next year he can have friends over to distract him or something. Cute, Cute!
Looks like you had a great Halloween. Cute costumes!
I love the costumes!! The pumpkins look great too. And what fun to do the cider thing and be with family for Halloween. It's so hard to know about trick-or-treating. When I was young, we could go until we started middle school. But down here, everyone goes until they start high school. I told Kendall that this is his last year and we had an issue because ALL of his friends can go for 3 more years, so we'll have to see....
your mom is a hoot! All the pictures were darling! Glad you had such a good Halloween! It was fun to see how you guys made the apple juice.
My stomach did a lurch when I read that Brandon was getting too old to trick or treat. How can that be? Remember when I was there with Jana and he was like two?! And I didn't even recognize Luie. Hilarious!
