Last garden post

I know I'm behind. The garden has long frozen over, although it stayed alive for a long time! I just had to document a few things.

The Heaton kids came over to play, except I broke the child labor laws and made them help me pick the beans! We had a contest between the boys and girls and the girls won (not by very far)! They were amazing little pickers! Our boys have their own garden spot. They choose what they want to plant, they weed it and water it. This year Kyle planted watermelon and Brandon planted cantaloupe. They were so small, it was fun to eat!

We had some pretty good potatoes too! The boys were proud.

It is about time that you have let us in on your life again!;) Were the fruit some type of mini size or did that all they grow? Looks like things grew well at your house too.

Looks like you had a great garden. Mine didn't do well, I guess that's what happens when you leave for the whole summer, huh? I love reading about you and your family and what a cute mom you are.

WOW!! Okay...you need to come and give me some gardening tips. It's either that I do not have a green thumb or our soil stinks. I'm pretty sure it's both. :) Your garden (and kids) is awesome!!!
