Christmas

I'm finally getting around to getting a Christmas post up. I had so many pictures I just decided on a slide show. So, look if you want, if not that's okay too. It had been such horrible weather the couple days before Christmas we just decided to hang around our house for Christmas Eve. Darin made a big snow pile and they took the sleds down it. They also got out the snowmobiles and we were able to snowmobile around the farm. The kids had so much fun outside, the wind wasn't blowing!! Then they got the snowmobiles and started pulling the sleds behind them. Everything was great until Christopher's chin hit the sled and broke his tooth. It was his front left tooth, it broke off straight up into his gums. It looked like someone just took a saw to it. The bottom tooth was also chipped and cracked. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. He was in a lot of pain. We called the Dentist and he met us in town at 5. He was able to put a temp fix on it and it didn't hurt any more. We were so glad Dr. Johnson would meet us in there and it was so early. It didn't stop any of our Christmas Eve plans, just pushed them back a little. We went back in on Monday and had if fixed right. You can't even tell now.

We were able to have a yummy dinner. Jonathan was in charge of our "Twas the Night Before Christmas" movie, he was a GREAT director. It was really fun having the addition of the elf- B.I. this year. Christopher was our Santa and he was so funny. Then we acted out the Nativity, drank egg nog, opened jammies, took pictures and went to bed (at 11:00) The kids did great staying up that late, but they were ready to SLEEP!

Santa came and we had a wonderful christmas. It was really fun having Grandma Susy, Grandpa Gary, and Johnny stay at our house. We are so glad they would sleep over with us. Thanks guys! The most popular present probably has been the Super Mario Brothers- the old one. The kids downloaded it onto the wii for me. They love it as much as I do. They like that I will play the wii with them now. It was a great Christmas for us. The kids were so happy and nice to each other, a wonderful Christmas present!

I'm glad that you guys had such a great Christmas. That was sure to bad about Christopher's tooth. Thank goodness for good caring dentists. We felt so relieved when the dentist was able to fix Madi's front tooth. I'm glad mom, dad, and Johnny were able to stay over and that you had such a good Christmas Eve after all. Cute slide show. Looks like you had so much fun.

What fun traditions! It looks like you guys had a blast this Christmas. Yeah, I could kick some if we had the old Mario Bros. :) I'm not as good at this new stuff. Ouch about the tooth! Good thing the dentist could help out. Happy New Year!!
