Good Carrot anyone??

Do any of you have a good craving for a crisp carrot? I WISH I did, but Heidi does. She was hungry one night going to bed, but she hardly ate any dinner. I am a mean Mom and won't let them eat other stuff if they won't eat their dinner. So this night I peeled a carrot... thinking she wouldn't want it (I can't get her to eat a carrot at lunch.) Boy was I wrong. She was glad to take it to bed with her. For the next week she would get in bed and beg for a carrot. What can you say to that- your child wants a carrot of course she can have it.

It was so funny one night she got out of bed and Darin said "you better get back in bed or I'm going to take your carrot away!" She said, "No, don't take my carrot away" and ran back into her bed and stayed. Is that just funny!! This girl keeps us laughing.

This night Darin gave her a BIG carrot and all the cut up ones for future nights. She does eventually fall asleep. Usually her carrot is gone, but not this night. She tried hard though. I'm hoping our good and faithful dentist will still be willing to check her teeth. It's better than candy or milk right??

Oh man, that is so funny, I will be looking at future pictures to see if her skin is a shade of orange!

That is a big carrot! How funny! Yeah, you can't say no to a carrot. Heidi is such a fun girl. Congrats to Christopher; that is awesome.

So I talked to the good and faithful denstist, if this is the one you mean. He doesn't recommend it. Yeah it is much better than, milk or candy, but he says all food has their own sugars that aren't good for the teeth when they just sit in the mouth, no matter how healthy it is. He recommends no food to bed at all. But for me, if that is what it takes, I say go for it!

Congrats Christopher, when we ever have a boy, you guys need to share your pine wood derby expertise making with us! That is fun!

That's hilarious. I laughed out loud, especially because Darin threatened to take it away. Love it!!

That is classic. Could be the makings of a strong-willed little girl?! :)
