1. We have been without a computer for over a week. I didn't realize how much I use it. I'm sure I waste a lot of time on it. I missed not know what everyone was up too. My google reader was loaded when we finally got hooked back up.
2. Church was canceled on Sunday because of the weather. It was a blizzard. We've had more snow the last 2 weeks than the whole month of Feb and Jan! It's really wet. We ended up having Primary and Sunday School down in our play room. I should have taken a picture, it was so cute. It was really fun to have just our little family, and they behaved!
3. On Tuesday the power company shut all the power down in our whole area. School was canceled and all the kids were here- with NO POWER!! (only for 5 hours, but still!) It was actually kinda fun. The kids made a fort downstairs.
Things I learned while being a pioneer.
-I'm addicted to the computer :)
-I LOVE ELECTRICITY and running water.
-I read a book for me and LOTS of kid books.
-The church is TRUE, the spirit is real. Even in the basement of your own home.
- My kids need to learn how to play better without electronic things!
-I need to be a little more prepared for if/when we have no electricity. (batteries are really important!!)
-I'm SUPER glad I am not a pioneer. I love all the many many conveniences we have now!

All my boys were just hanging out on the couch. Tyler(aka slobber monster) was having a blast just being with his brothers.

Oh man...I don't need the internet to go out to find out how much I am addicted to the computer! I don't know what I'd do haha. Anyways, glad you survived, and it sounds like the weather isn't giving you a break at all. Hope it gets better soon.
I love the green wig! The picture of all the boys on the couch is cute. What a week! I think I should try going without tv and computer for a week; I'm sure it would be a good thing. Glen and I would have to bust out a good old board game which sadly we haven't done forever. I love all the pictures. I can't believe it snowed....well yes I can. We are supposed to get snow twice next week. YIPEE love ya
It was fun to see you for a few minutes this weekend!! I am glad that I was born in this day and age too. I would not make a good pioneer. Sounds like you guys had fun in all of your adventures though!
I love the computer too. I think to much. Looks like you have had lots of fun!
