The Love of My Life! & a new adventure!

Warning: lots of posts coming soon. Lots happening, not much blogging. I'm catching up now.

On the 13th of June Darin and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful time. Grandpa Doug and Grandma Luie kept all the kids and we were able to the Anniversary Inn in Logan (thanks!). We stayed in the room called Juliet's Balcony. It was SOO beautiful. We had a fun time. Of course we were able to get a few games of Catan in! Our favorite game, we don't get to play much anymore.

Thank you for the wonderful time babe! Thanks for everything you do for me. You help me out so much. You are a wonderful father to our children. It's fun to watch you play with them. You are the calming influence so many times and I'm so grateful! It's wonderful being married to my best friend. The past 13 years has been amazing! I can't wait for the next 13.

The new adventure is...

I ran a 5K! For those of you who know me, I'm not a jogger. I have hardly ever ran a mile in my life. My Mom really wanted to do one this year, so I agreed to do one with her. It hasn't worked out that we did one together though. But when Malta was going to have one I said I had to do it. It was amazing! Darin did it with me and we actually jogged the whole thing! I'm so proud of myself!

There is NO WAY I could have jogged the whole thing without my Sweetheart! He kept me going when I was really ready to quit. There were a few times I really really wanted walk, but he just kept encouraging me and of course I couldn't let him down. I'm so glad he would do it with me. This is after the race. We look pretty good I'd say. It was quite fun. Now the trick is continue jogging..... hopefully.
