Spur of the moment.

One afternoon Darin called and said he would be home soon so let's go do something. So we packed up and headed out. We went up to Lake Cleveland with great hopes of catching a fish and having a great hot dog roast. It didn't quite work out like that, but it was still fun anyway.
The three boys got to climb all over the rocks.

It was a quite cool there. Can you guess what is under this blanket?

Heidi. She layed all wrapped up for quite a while. Then she finally got up and started having fun with us.

Tyler was happy just throwing rocks into the lake. There were little tiny fish that were really fun to watch.

We ended up forgetting the hot dog sticks, and there were no empty camp sites to cook in anyway. So we headed back home to cook in our fire pit.
These three are playing on our well, it is a little hill and they were having so much fun climbing up and down it. I also liked the big blue tractor in the background. That is what Darin has been driving lately.

Christopher and the beloved hot dog sticks! This boys loves his s'mores!!

So much fun! I keep telling Mike we need to do this, before it gets too cold. Don't you love it when the hubby plans a family spur of the moment idea, doesn't matter what it is, it is great! ;)

Way to be spontaneous! We love Lake Clevland, but it was cold last time we went there too. Hmmm weird. Anyways, Love seeing the pictures of the kids. Tyler looks so big!! When will we see you again?
