Fist Day of School!!

First Day of School! I think their smiles say it all. They were ready.
Kyle will have a new teacher this year. Mr Elliott. Fresh out of BYU-I. He's super excited!
Christopher has a new teacher also...kindof. The 3rd grade teacher moved up to 5th grade. Good thing he likes Mrs. Loock!

Brandon is the big dog in Jr. High now! He will also have a new English teacher. He's happy to get out of the grain wagon and see some friends.

It's a happy/sad time for me. It's so great having them home. But it is so fun to watch them learn and grow and be with friends. I really enjoy the natural routine it provides, and earlier bed time!! I don't like the earlier morning time though!
We are having Heidi tested to see if she qualifies for free preschool. I really don't think she will, unless she has a really bad day and is stubborn, like she can be. There is a big chance we won't even be able to pay for her to go because of the class size. We'll see I guess.

They do look really excited to be going back to school!! You can tell a little that they have been sleeping in, because they have bags under their eyes. The early morning stuff is going to kill us too when we have kids in school. So fun!! Hopefully it will be a great school year!

Oh I am sure it is weird having them leave again! Love all the pictures though. I'm sure Heidi and Tyler miss having them around. Hope all their new teachers are fun for them.

I know exactly what you mean---a very sad/happy day! I still can't get over how grown up Brandon is looking!! And the other boys are growing too. So what do they do for preschool testing??? Is there only one preschool Heidi can go to?

Cute kids! I hope you are enjoying the extra (wink, wink) time you have now that some of the kids are in school. I am still looking for that extra time myself.

I love how they're holding up fingers to show what grade they're in! Brillant! I have many of the same feelings you do. I miss them too. My gas tank will definately be filled more often now. I feel like I'm running all over right now. Brandon looked so grown up. I can't believe he's an 8th grader! I got to see your family pictures! Mom had the link while she was here. They are awesome. Have you decided on which one(s) you're going to get? I'm excited to get mine ordered too. It's hard.

It is so much easier to send them, when they are actually excited to go. It's great that they enjoy school!
