Arrow of light and turtle races!

For November pack meeting we did turtle races. It turned out to be SOO much fun!

They were a little hard to maneuver.

After the turtle races went on for a little while, then everyone came into the R.S. room for a special Indian Camp. A nice looking Indian lady was there to tell them all a story! She also presented Christopher with his Arrow of Light award!
She first made him say the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
It was really cool. All the scouts were just hanging on my every word through the story! So fun! I'm proud of Christopher for getting his Arrow of Light. He was the only one his age to get it.
This was also Kyle's very first pack meeting and he received his bobcat award. I didn't get any pictures of it. Darin held him upside down to pin the bobcat on his shirt. Really fun.

Oh that is so awesome Tayna. Wherever did you find such a good looking Native American in Malta? I have never seen turtle races like that before. Looks like a great activity, those boys are lucky to have you as a leader.
