So after the new year we headed down south to go to the dentist and visit my Sister's family.
We are happy to report that Dr. Death....our very nice dentist......didn't have to inflict any pain this year! Yay!! NO cavities and NO teeth needed pulled!

We got a new camera for Christmas, so on the way down I was experimenting with it.

These pictures were taken in the dark, I think they turned out great!
The ride down was a little rough. The kids were bad in the car. Usually they behave pretty good. But seeing this picture, I know why they were so bad! Look at the 3 that are in the back...together! The two mild ones are in the bucket seats. What was I thinking! We fixed the problem for the return trip home. I sat in the back!
They were 'trying' to sleep.
After the dental visits, we headed up the canyon to go sledding.
This was the most fun I have had in the snow for a LONG time! We went clear up the canyon, where the road is packed with snow. Then use these runner sleds to sled down the road. We probably went a couple of miles and we got going pretty fast! It was a blast! Someone has to go behind us in the truck to pick us up at the bottom. Thanks Jana and Connor! We loved it! Then we went swimming after this. The Thompson's know how to have a great time! Thanks guys.

Grandma Great is in a Assisted Living Center in Lavan, which is close to Jana's. We were so glad we could go visit her. She is always so sweet and great with the kids. We will miss her not coming up for the summer.

Nice to see a picture of Grandma smiling. Brandon looks so big in the car picture...I laugh when you talk about your mild ones and not mild ones. :)
also....at first after reading your title I thought for sure you were going to announce that you were coming "down south" to visit us!!! haha We are all very excited to see you guys in May!
I for sure haven't gone on such a big sledding hill as the one you guys described. Sounds like such a great time, and free dental work! Can't go wrong there.
I am glad that your guys come to Dr. Death, then I know for sure you will come visit at least once a year. We love to have you and the girls love it too!! We had lots of fun too!
I can't believe how old Brandon is looking. The sledding sounded awesome. We're sure looking forward to seeing everybody in May!
Oh man, that sledding looked so fun! I want to do it next year!!! We spent lots of time on those sleds when I was young. Brings back good memories. Good memories for your kids! Glad you could go visit Jana and fam!
