Brandon had a very busy February. His JV team ended up winning their tournament, so they were district champions. The last game they were ahead, so coach put in all the second string so he got to play the last 5 minutes. It was such a fun way to end the season. The whole team getting to play and winning the whole JV.
He then had to make a bridge out of spaghetti for geometry. They went to ISU to break them with a bunch of other schools. He worked really hard on it. Several nights he was down in his room gluing it all together. He used gorilla glue, which is really good glue, but hard to work with. It wasn't the best looking bridge by any means, it had glue all over. It was strong though. It won the WHOLE THING!! His bridge held 64 lbs. Then next closest bridge held 32 lbs! It even beat the college kids. He was shocked and so were we!! All that hard work and late nights paid off!! He won a really cool t-shirt and bragging rights!
He is getting tall, but in this picture he has shoes on and Darin doesn't, so he is a little shorter than it looks. He is getting really close to me though. Only about an inch or less to go......Ahhh!
He started driver's ed this week. We are both very excited about it!

Holy Smokes, that bridge thing is amazing. Congrats Brandon!
Driver's Ed? That's awesome and crazy at the same time!
Way to go Big B! Keep up the good work!
How do you keep that kid in clothes, he is always growing. He looks really tough and cut in his basketball pictures. And he has some good brains too! Way to go on the Bridge project!! That is awesome.
