On July 3rd Christopher became the proud owner of braces! His teeth don't look very crooked, but the molars don't line up very well, and would end up wearing each other out, causing major teeth problems down the road. So we decided to fix the problem, before it became a big problem.
The great thing was..... Just one day later he was riding a tube behind the boat with his cousin Jack and somehow came down on the back of Jack's head. Jack's head bled, and Christopher's eye swelled. This picture is two days later. He had this awesome black eye for about 2 weeks!
So nobody noticed that he got braces because he had such a great black eye.
Two more days later.....
I think Brandon was doing his sugar beet tour video here.
Both him and Christopher were at scout camp during their tour, so they had to turn in videos.
Brandon did a lot of dammer diking this year.

oh we love christopher!! He's a good sport. That hurts just looking at that picture. Glad there was not permanent damage! haha, the braces suit him well.
That's quite the shiner! Braces are the coolest thing ever, right?!
