Corn coming out of our ears!!
Last night we did corn....lots of it! The whole sled was full of corn and there was even more on the counter. All the kids helped so much, we were so proud of them. Brandon cooked, Kyle cooled, Christopher bagged and Heidi... well, she helped Dad cut by putting the cut ones in a bag, and also eating lots. Darin was so patient with them. I had to feed Tyler which was a good thing becuase I wouldn't have been as patient as Darin was. He is amazing to help so much. We ended up getting 60 bags and they each have about 3 1/2 cups in them. We are so grateful to have 'Brian's garden' to grown corn on. Our corn in our garden froze again. Actually most of our garden is gone, it froze really early. We need some TREES! We do love gardening, especially eating the yummy food off it.

Holy Smokes! That's amazing and the cobs look so big and full. Way to go and what a family project!! 60 bags that's more than one a week for the whole year!
What the heck! I love that picture, and am so jealous of all the yummy produce you will be snacking on. What a project, but so nice Darrin helped out, and way worth it compared to canned or frozen corn:-( YUCK! I can't wait to someday do a garden. Hey maybe we should move next to you guys and farm. Doctors appointment today and I am going to ask him to check me, I will post if there is anything exciting to blog about!

I cannot believe how much corn you got!! Wow! And that's so great that the kids were such good helpers. Sometimes dads can be a bit more patient than us moms on projects like that. ;)
that is a lot of corn:) we have eaten a lot and got 10 bags 2 cups each. We still have a big garden we planted later so more to do!

cute pictures! I love the one with Heidi and the cat! Thanks for teaching my grandkids to work hard! You guys are amazing! Gary and I got 13 bags and you get over 60! We know who to bring corn to all the family dinners!
