Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. Time just goes too fast. Christmas Eve my Mom and Dad were able to come out and stay for Christmas day. It was really fun having them here with us. The kids love them. We went sledding at Pomerelle. We made our first ever music video. "Grandma got ran over by a Reindeer" So funny. We also made a movie- Twas The night before Christmas. We acted out the nativity. It was lots of fun.

The highlight of the presents was a trip to Disneyland for the 3 oldest boys!! They were so excited and we were so excited to finally tell them. We decided to leave the youngest 2 home. It was a hard decision. Darin had a dream about taking them all to Lagoon and it was a nightmare, so we figured that was an answer to our prayers. We are excited to be able to take the oldest 3 and really focus on them. So if you have been to Disneyland lately let me know what you liked and didn't like. It's been a really long time since either one of us has been there.

How fun to have your parents there for Christmas morning! And so awesome about Disneyland! When do you think you'll go?

I've only been once, in HS, so I'm not any help in planning, but it sounds so fun to just focus on your olders.

What a terrific Christmas!!! Disneyland--I'm sure those boys are soooooo excited!!! When are you going?? We took all the kids in Fall '07, so it's been a couple of years. There's a great book called "The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland 2010" that has some really great tips and ideas on how to pack in as much as you can. They come out with a new one each year, but I'm sure not a lot changes. Anyway...cute pictures and looks like you guys had a great time during the holidays.

It's so fun to see all your pictures! I' glad your parents got to spend Christmas with you. We had so much fun there last year. Your family party looked really fun too. You have an amazing family. The fishing pictures--well, I would have been a little scared too! My parents were always good to let me do lots of stuff growing up and not worry and I was very glad about that. Hope I wasn't too protective of my kids!
