Last Saturday they went. It was freezing cold, but they had a blast. They left at 7:00 a.m. and didn't get home until 5:45 p.m. (They did have to run to Wal-mart for me though, it was still plenty long.) They only caught 4 fish, but they had lots of fun! These fish are TONS bigger than the ones they are used to catching at Sublett reservoir. The fish Christopher is holding weighed 4 and 3/4 pounds!
They fished off this walk way across Minidoka dam. I was really happy when the camera and everything else came back home in one piece. I was worried about them falling in. They stood behind these wooden piece for a little protection from the freezing wind.

They spent a lot of time playing on this spill way. In the spring water will flow through it.
They also did some ice skating, with their boots! It helped keep them warm to move around.

Holy Smokes!! Those are some awesome fish!! Did they taste very good? It doesn't sound very fun, but having the chance to catch some big ones would help it out a lot. That's fun!! I can't wait to hear the catching stories!
