We had the pinewood Derby this week. It turned out to be a lot of fun! I made these little trophies for the kids to put their cars on. I thought they turned out really cute.
Here I am in pure Cubmaster style! 
Christopher got 2nd place!! Way to go Buddy!
We asked the Dad's to make their own cars. There were only 3 days that brought them. Darin made an awesome tractor, with a driver and all. He is most definitely the creative one in our family!! He tried to make it slow- but it actually did pretty good especially after he added graphite.
All 7 of my scouts! They are great boys! We had a fun night.

Darin IS really creative! That fits him perfect. I guess it is all that time that he has to think, while he is in the tractor. Fun! The trophy stands are a good idea!
Wow--those trophies turned out cute!! I think the refreshment idea is cute too--tying it all together. The cars looks great--WHO would have thought to do a tractor?! Very creative... And look at you--gorgeous no matter what you're wearing. :)

Good job Tayna and Christopher and Darin! Your trophys were great. I love that Darin gets so creative. He has so much of mom in him sometimes. I guess we'll see you this weekend. We'll be up for Jordan's farewell. We don't have a plan. Nate's still got to figure it all out.

What a cute cubmaster! It looks like you had a great time at your pinewood derby. Ours is supposed to be tomorrow, but they are predicting snow, and if it snows here everything is cancelled. Makes me laugh!
