Chickens.

I haven't done a chickens post for a bit, so I thought I would update you all. We got rid of the chicken condo and got a BIG box from Grandpa Doug. They seem happy. The were not fitting through the little doors we made in the chicken condo anymore. Don't look at the poop- chickens poop a lot and I have given up keeping up with them.
Darin took this Americana outside yesterday. It was really fun. She is one of the smaller chicks.
She was pretty tame and stayed right by us.
Heidi still Loves "Her" chickens.
Brandon was holding really still and it came over and pecked his cheek twice.

We really need to get some names for them. We aren't so good at that. Any suggestions?
The coop is close to being done. If he wouldn't have had to replant so many beets it would have been done. Someday soon. Darin is trying hard. He just needs about 5 more hours per day to get everything done!

Friday it was such a beautiful day. Tyler and Heidi played in the sandbox. They love to put water in and make little lakes and rivers. Well, I wasn't watching and they got a lot of water! Happy times for kids.

Wow--they are getting sooo big!! Good luck with the names. My kids usually name the pets and come up with some interesting stuff...

I can't believe how fast they grow! Sad about the beets, I hope these ones go better. The sandbox picture is crazy. So much water. Silly kids. And they have such cute outfits on!

I can't believe how big they are! Did it hurt when Brandon got pecked? I can't believe that Heidi still loves them so much! The Americana could be called Merry. That is my only suggestion for now. I will keep thinking.

I have some great ideas for names.
Enchilada, and Lemon, and Marinated. How do you like those!!!
I love the water lakes in the sand. Now it will be three weeks until it dries out again.
