Christopher had an okay Birthday. He was recovering from strep throat so he didn't have to go to school, which was fun for him, but also a bummer to stay home and not feel awesome. Darin and Brandon both had strep too. We did go to his class at the end of the day to have cupcakes and homemade ice cream. He was happy to be back in class for a little bit I think. 
He got a new chess/checkers board. Christopher is the CHECKERS CHAMP! He kills me every time I play with him. He is really good.
Christopher is playing the sax this year in the 5th grade band. He has picked it up really fast and he's getting good. During this concert you could hear him above all the others!

We are so glad Christopher is in our family. He has a very funny personality. You really have to listen close to hear the funny things he says because he doesn't usually say it for everyone to hear. So many times he is the peacemaker and gets the shaft a lot. We are so glad he chose us to be his parents! We love you buddy!

The picture of the four of them laughing is so cute, I need to practice up on my checkers skills so I can be some competition! I love Christopher's laugh the most!
That's too bad he was sick on his bday. It still looks like he had a nice day.
I wish we could have heard him play the sax while we were there. I hope he has a great year.
