He got an Alfie. The bigger kids even love it. 
He had a very creative cake. Heidi helped me make it, so it had a powdered sugar road, a couple lakes, with goldfish swimming in it. A few dead fish too, and people on the beach. We had fun and Tyler thought it was really neat. That's all the matters anyway. 
A few of my favorite things about Tyler Thomas Harper- that is what he wants us to call him. No more Ty Ty, T Bone or just plain Tyler- it's the full thing.
He says yes all the time. It's not yep, uh-huh, it's YES.
He loves to give hugs.
He LOVES LOVES LOVES Heidi. He wants to be with her all the time and doing whatever she is doing.
He is quiet and usually very agreeable, but watch out when he's not!
His eyes are very blue.
He can finally go to the bathroom all by himself! He used to want me to help him get on the toilet.
He is not a big meat eater. If you sneak it in he eats it fine, but he thinks chicken is "yucky"
He has a lisp, and is a little harder to understand. He talks very slow and deliberate.
We sure love him and are so glad he is in our family. He keeps us all smiling.

Oh he is adorable. I love that he didn't want to be 3 til' after the party. And what a smart boy with the puzzles. I don't think even I can do one of the U.S. haha! Should have been there, the cake is great, I love it!

What a fun day and such a cute little guy. He needs to come teach my kids how to do puzzles...Matthew will not sit very long and try. I guess Tyler is like Darin and sadly Matthew is probably like me in that way. The cake looked great!

What a cutie! It sounds like he is so his own person -- you have to be to be #5! I love how you have Gary and Susie in so many of your family's birthday pics! That's really lucky!
Glad we could see him a few days later. He sure is a cutie. I sure learned how you have to call him his full name! That's so funny. Good to see you guys. Can't wait til Johnny, I mean, Jonathan Thomas Harper comes home!
