Splash Mtn. was our very first ride!! We loved it! Dad got pretty wet.
This was our favorite part. I think Christopher is waving to the train that was going by. Or maybe he was waving at the rabbits!
This is a picture of the picture they took of us. This wasn't the first time we rode. Everyone had it figured out to pose for the camera. The boys really liked the rides that took pictures.
Another picture of a picture. Our first time on Space Mtn (we weren't posing!) It was also one of our favorite rides. We loved the music on this ride. Kyle was SURE we went out into space on this ride and also Star Tours. Happy to say he didn't get very motion sick on Star Tours.

Another favorite ride. Big Thunder Mtn. This is just a good classic ride. The fast pass worked really well on this ride. We felt bad -kind of- for skipping so many people in line.

They were good little mapsters. We were fast and efficient. There was a TON of people there. We went in Feb. thinking that it would be nice and slow. Well, February is, just not the week of President's day! The workers told us the week before was waaaay slower. That's okay though. We saw a lot of interesting people and we still got to do everything we wanted. The fast pass system really works- thanks to Darin for being our run around guy!
Pirates of the Caribbean. This ride was hilarious. Everything was so real to Kyle. He got pretty scared when the pirates were shooting cannons at the civilians. We kept telling him he was okay and it was just fake. He finally turned to Darin and said, "Dad, I don't think I am going to live!" We did get him on it two more times. The second time he layed on our laps with his head down and ears plugged. The third time we had to break out the M&M's. I had no idea things would be so real to him.
Some of our other favorites were Buzz light year. We went on that ride a TON. It usually had a fairly short line, and also a fast pass. Autotopia (driving cars). Indiana Jones was closed until the last day. We were able to go on it twice. That was really fun and intense. I wish we could have gone on it more, it's hard to see everything. A few of us liked the Haunted Mansion. We liked Small World- we went on that at night because it was always warm inside and it was a long ride!

I didn't get very good pictures. I loved the parade. Everyone else would have been happy to keep riding rides. I think they liked it okay though. I was super impressed with Disneyland's staff. Everyone was so happy and nice. All the workers were older, responsible looking people. They really looked like they enjoyed their jobs even though it was so monotonous. Very cool to see.

What a fun trip. Poor Kyle, that is funny that everything became so real to him. Your hair is pretty Tayna. It looks like you dyed it and got a haircut??
It looks like you guys had a amazingly fun vacation!!! It makes me want to go back to Disneyland. The first time I ever went was with the choir and seeing you in the pics made me think of that day. Ha! Space Mountain is probably my favorite ride. I can't wait for the next post!

Wow, I just talked to a friend who got back yesterday and said it was not very busy. I'm glad you got everything you wanted though. I love the picture rides too, so funny! That's awesome Darin would run around and get the fast passes. SO NICE! Can't wait for more.
