We love dying Easter Eggs. There are never enough eggs to dye.
We were at my Parents house for Easter and Conference. We had a great Easter egg hunt inside, (because it was pretending to be February outside). Darin finished up the tile in their basement bathroom. We got Tyler's 2 year pics taken, and celebrated my Dad's 58th birthday. We tried our best to listen to Conference. We traveled back and forth during 2 different sessions, so that was good. The other two we did our very best listening with lots of people in the house. It was a fun full weekend. The kids always have fun with their cousins. I didn't get any other pictures.

We got 2 more chicks. They are Americana's- or Easter Egg chicks. They are suppose to lay blue, green or pink eggs. That will be fun. So we are now up to 8 chicks! They are growing well!

They are growing well!I can't believe my baby is 2! He is such a mild happy kid. He spent his day playing play dough, eating lunch in the tractor with Daddy, playing outside a little- still pretty chilly. Going to the bookmobile and having a snooze in the car. For dinner we had fish and his all time favorite GREEN BEANS- Wonderful, but so weird! For breakfast we had cream of wheat that he loves. He is really starting to talk a lot. Actually copy everything. He is Heidi's little copy cat. He tries to say everything she does. He LOVES tractors, semi's, beet trucks, dollies, pushing things around in the baby strollers, wrestling and is constantly running. We are so glad he is in our family. He has a calming effect on all of us- usually!

I never knew chickens could lay multi colored eggs. Pretty cool! And so exciting that Tyler is 2! He's looking older for sure, I love the family picture. Everyone looks great. I can't believe it's been 3 months since we saw you last. I think that is a record. We're halfway!
I didn't know about hens laying different colored eggs either. How fun!! Maybe next year you won't have to color any eggs. :) Although I do have to agree--that is one of the most fun things about Easter! I cannot believe your baby is 2 already! Wow--time flies! It sounds like you guys had a really fun (cold) weekend.

What a cute birthday boy! He is sure starting to talk a lot. You chickens are cuter than ours! Ours are growing too fast and have lost their cute soft feathers! Oh, so fun to compare notes about chickens!! How fun for your family. Love you all!
Happy Birthday Tyler. It sounds like you guys are busy as ever. I bet the chickens are going to be a blast for the kids. Just a little side note: Savannah misses Heidi so much. She names ever doll, pet shop, polly pocket, etc. that she plays with, Heidi! We cute her hair today and Ashley said, "She looks like Heidi!"
Looks like you had a great easter.. I was going to say what Katie said.. You won't have to color eggs next year. That bruise is sad... I hate when my kids get hurt
