Pehrson Reunion

My brother and his wife were in charge of the reunion for my family this year. We had a great time!
First, my little family went down to Layton a little early to Target and got Christopher some FREE glasses from Target optical. There are specific Targets in Utah that are giving free glasses to kids from 5-12. It was SOO worth the drive. We got a free pair that would have cost us $292!!! If you want to know more about it let me know.
Next, we met up with everyone at the place my brother works. He works for Kroger and is a big wig over their dairy plant. He took us on a tour. With 13 kids, it wasn't super fun and I didn't learn all I wanted to learn. It was still really neat to see how it all works. Our 3 oldest boys really liked it. The best part was the free chocolate milk and yogurt samples at the end!! Kyle said, "this is the best chocolate milk I have ever tasted!"
We went to Cherry Hills. It is a great camping/swimming place. We really had lots of fun. This is Darcy, Tyler, Derek, Eliza and Mara on the merry-go-round patiently waiting for the Dad's to buy the tickets.

Tyler LOVES Grandpa Doug.
Avery, Brady, Tyler and Jake. Brady looks like he could be our kid with the white hair.
We went on a great little hike. We started hiking at 9:00 p.m.! It was nice and cool. There was a full moon which was great to hike back down with. The kids all did amazing. Great idea to go hiking at night! (look at Quinn and Derek with their arms around each other, so cute!)

We went mini golfing. Of course Heidi gives us a little pose for the picture. Tyler is trying to pose like her! It worked so good for me and Heidi and Tyler to go together. Who cares how the ball gets to the hole, as long as it gets there!!
This is the serious bunch of golfers. They had a great time.
We went to a movie Saturday afternoon. Nice, cool and relaxing. Then all the kids and Grandma and Grandpa went to a park to play for cousin camp. Grandma and Grandpa are so brave. The kids had a blast with them. The rest of us went and played sand volleyball in the 95 degree weather. It was really fun though and it really didn't feel that hot. Then we went to eat at a Japanese restaurant. I sure wish I would have taken a few pictures. Lets just say Sushi isn't my favorite. In fact, I'm pretty sure I won't be trying it again. We had lots of fun though and laughed a lot.

Thanks Clayt and Sheila for all you did. We had a wonderful time.

Oh so much fun. Kyle's face in the dairy tour picture cracks me up! Sounds like you guys had such a good time, and I am with you on night hiking, except for the wild animals of course! :-)
