Christopher's big #12 birthday fell on a Saturday this year! ! He was excited to be able to sleep in! He wanted sausage egg biscuits for breakfast, which was fine, but we still didn't have a stove.....so thanks to Ashley we had some biscuits! They were yummy. He got to open his presents in the morning because Brandon had an away basketball game and was going to be gone most of the day.
He got the latest Eregon book......he's been wanting really really bad! He also got some snow boots.

As you can tell from this lovely picture none of us were 'ready for the day' He was the only kid that was dressed! Brandon also had some amazing bed head going on! Christopher likes to be goofy....so we did a goofy picture for him!
He wanted the family feud pie......it was fabulous!
The day before he had a friend come home from school and they went sledding behind the rhino in the yard. Had a blast. On his Birthday we decorated the Christmas tree. Then all the kids went sledding behind the rhino again. They love doing that! I fed them hot chocolate and toast for lunch and for dinner we had STEAK. Whenever I ask Christopher what we should eat he always replies with STEAK! This kid loves him some steak! He really wanted to make homemade ice cream so that night his aunts and uncles came over and played hand and foot and we made homemade ice cream! YUMMY!
The next day he was ordained a Deacon and received the Priesthood! Pretty special. We are proud of you Christopher and we love you very much!

Happy Birthday Dougy! That sounds like a fun and lazy birthday! That is some amazing bed head from Brandon! I was laughing. It is probably fun to see him pass the sacrament.
Big birthday...I didn't realize he was turning 12 this year! I love the goofy picture. Sure miss you guys....wish we could see you all at Christmas! Happy late birthday Christopher!

He is such a good, fun kid. I love his little comments on the side of a conversation. Glad we got to enjoy the homemade ice cream. Always a treat!
