Halloween parties

I helped with Heidi's Halloween party this year. It is always so fun to help in the Kindergarten. They are so excited to dress up and have so much fun! I helped them do a cute pumpkin craft. One where you lace the edges of the pumpkin together. I was surprised at the different levels of the kids. Most of them had a fun time doing them.

The whole Kindergarten class! 32 students. All day. Every day. Mrs. Wight is amazing! She does have a lot of helpers though.
Heidi and a couple of her friends. Allie, and Angie

Darin is the YM President now and it was our wards turn to do plan a Halloween party for 5 different wards in the area. He got the great idea of having it at our shop and making a spook alley in the trees by our house. I thought he was crazy. It was right in the middle of beet harvest for him but he still wanted to do it. He had a few leaders that really stepped up and helped him soo much. The boys were also very excited about it and helped out when they could. I wish I had more pictures, but it turned out really really good. I took all the little kids through before it was totally dark and they weren't too scared. The kids in the spook alley were really nice to us though! Heidi even wanted to go again with a big group.
Darin has always wanted to be a pumpkin person and he got his chance! He borrowed some sheet rockers stilts and carved the biggest pumpkin we had. He mostly just walked around and scared kids as they were walking by. I think he had a fun time. I didn't get a picture of Brandon, he dressed all in black and just scared people too.
I'm not allowed to say who this person is. But she is our good friend. Darin begged her to come and be in the spook alley. She has the BEST WITCH CACKLE I HAVE EVER HEARD! The kids know her pretty well in person, so they weren't too scared of her all dressed up. It was really fun to have her.

Darin's pumpkin costume is awesome!! It is pretty scary. How fun to do a spook alley but that does sound like a ton of work.
