Heidi turned 6!!! I can't believe my little girl is already 6. In Kindergarten I usually have a birthday party for them and invite all the kids of the same sex in their class to come. Heidi had 13 little girls come and Thomas her cousin. It was quite the party!! I decided girls aren't that that much different than boys. They both like to run around, explore the house and play! The girls probably did play the games a little better though.
These pictures are all out of order......but we're just happy to get this post done!
Christopher was our photographer and took some great shots while they were playing freeze dance.

The girls had a blast dancing!
They got pretty creative. Heidi mid fall....Christopher is proud of this picture!
When they all arrived we first did the limbo. That's the one for sure thing Heidi wanted to do! The girls had fun and got pretty silly.
We also played hide the star......(hide the thimble) Then opened presents. The girls were so excited for Heidi to open their present they got her. A few of them were sad they couldn't keep it for themselves. It was so fun to watch them.
We then came upstairs and decorated cupcakes! They were hungry little girls!

Her masterpiece.
Opening presents.
When all the girls left, we finally had our own family party. We had gourmet mac and cheese....that means it had hot dogs in it! She was so excited for it because we hadn't had a stove for almost a month, so it had been a while since she had mac and cheese. Darin was thrilled that it was the first meal with our new stove.....not!
She really wanted a GIRL lunch box. Poor thing had been taking the boys, when she does take a lunch, which isn't very often.

Nolan and Ashley and kids came over to see her for a minute.
She was most excited about the pillow pet that Grandma Luie and Grandpa Doug gave her.

Heidi is quite the girl. We are so glad she is in our family, she keeps us on our toes. She is an active girl and likes to always have something to do. She is very creative and can play with Tyler for hours. When she decides to do something she just digs right in and gets it done. Never a dull moment in her brain. She is doing very well in school and is starting to read. Her only complaint is she has to sit too much. She started tumbling this year and seems to be very limber and strong.
We love you Heidi Lu! Life would be pretty dull without you!
