Brigham Temple

We were able to make it to the Brigham City Temple Open House.   We went a few days before school started.     We had to leave pretty early, so we could get Dad back to work.

It was BEAUTIFUL!     Funny story about Heidi.....She likes to know what to expect in advance and have time to prepare for things.   I had forgotten to tell her about the slippers we wore on our shoes.    Oh man,  those slippers were sure hard for her to wear.   I felt so bad.   She was SOO excited about going inside the Temple, then she had to wear these itchy yucky slippers.   I hope she was still able to enjoy  the tour, she was pretty preoccupied with the slippers.......next time...I will talk about the slippers first!

She really liked the round windows that were in the dressing rooms.  They had a peach blossom in the glass.

What a good lookin crew!

Outside the Temple there was a little bird that was very friendly, a few of the kids got to hold it.   I think that will be a memory for all of them.    It was the strangest thing, and so cool.  I wasn't fast enough to get a picture.

I am so grateful for  the Temple and that Families can be Together Forever!  What a wonderful blessing that is in this life.   I can't imagine heaven without my crazy crew!

It was really fun being inside the Temple with all the kids.  Knowing they will be able to go inside 'for reals' soon!   Especially with the new missionary change!!    Very Awesome!

Grandma Great came up to Gary and Susy's house to stay for a week.    We were able to go visit one night.   She is sure a special Grandma to us.     It is hard to see her slowing down, but at least she was good enough to come for a visit.

I couldn't decide which picture I like.   This one is great of Grandma and the other one is better of the rest of us.......So I will just post both!
