grain harvest

Grain Harvest is always an exciting time of year.
This year Christopher learned how to drive the grain wagon!!
He did a great job.   Very smart, and careful driver.
He loved showing me all his new skills!

He had a lot to teach me too!
He looks pretty small in that big tractor.
Sometimes it is tricky to unload into the trucks.   He did great!

Heidi and I enjoying our ride.

Because Christopher drove the grain wagon, Brandon had to do something else, so he drove the combine a little bit!
He  looked pretty small in there too!

My two boys doing harvest together!   (normally our corners don't have so many weeds, but this one did :)
I didn't ever get a ride with Brandon in the combine.     But it was sure fun to watch from the grain wagon, both combines going.   Kept Christopher hopping in the grain wagon.

Kyle always loves to go for a combine ride.   I think Tyler is in there too, behind the seat on the bench.

Heidi and Tyler LOVED playing with our baby kitties!!

Those are some cool pics. They do look really little in those big tractors. Have you every found your kitties? They are darling!

WOW...old enough to drive the grain wagon and Brandon in the combine. Way to go boys!! The scout camp looked like a lot of fun. I hope beet harvest is going well.

Nolan said Christopher was such a good grain wagon driver. So exciting to have them working together! I hadn't heard that story of Brandon and hypothermia! Super crazy. Looks at your boys crossing things off their merit badge lists though!

That's crazy your boys are old enough to drive those big machines!!! What fun to have them helping out though. Maybe I should send my kids up there to learn about some hard farm work. :)
